Jeong-hwa:  So, the calligraphy was done by Giovanni two years ago (2020). It was a present for me... I’m no good at this. You tell them.

Giovanni:  I made the original, as a gift for Jeong-Hwa, after work coming home from the hospital. The calligraphy itself was nice. Maybe a little more than passable. [Laughs] We showed this to some Chinese friends at the time, they liked the calligraphy.

Jeong-hwa:  It was my decision to add a painterly aspect to the original. Like... “All right, we should really paint something,” and, “Oh, I want something to put in my BitFins aquarium.” So we decided to revisit Giovanni’s gift for me. I decided that. ...At the time, I felt, that I could paint something worthy of his calligraphy, do something to really make his calligraphy stand out. I think all of us came to the agreement that it should be something ocean-inspired, water inspired, with crystals, etc. So you see some of that there. I think we did a decent job of it. Especially for a first try.
